Personal Effective Skills at Work for Self, Leadership and Team Management with Resilience
Synopsis
People who have a certain level of competency in personal effective skills are better at work because they are motivated, engaged, organised, and deliver consistent performance, whether in task-completion, in customer-servicing and/or even in sales achievement. Studies have also shown that highly successful people share a pattern of foundational self-guiding and leadership behaviour that allows them to demonstrate self-awareness, social intelligence and resilience during their most challenging and complex situations in life or at work. In this training programme, learners will bring their personal and work effectiveness to the next level via the framework of I.T.E.M.S (Individual and Team Effectiveness Management Skills). They will also find out their level of resilience utilising an Adversity Quotient assessment to ascertain their ability to face situations, problems, and obstacles as an individual, a team manager and/or a leader. Learners will also discover what their leadership type could be through a leadership elements’ analytical tool, and get to explore some new-era team-leading styles to communicate with, motivate and guide their teams to meet goals set. Targeted at personnel working in any industry who are looking to enhance their Personal Effective Skills for Self, and personnel who are looking to upskill themselves in Personal Effectiveness while preparing to be/ have been promoted to the position of a Team Manager and even a Leader of a team/ department/ corporation, the training will include hands-on training elements of discussion, case studies and project management to enhance learning. This course is truly the art of personal effectiveness enhancement for self, team manager and/or leader at the work place for optimal personal and corporate success in task-completion, customer-servicing and/or even in sales enhancement.

WSQ Course
Benefit/s
For the WSQ course training, participants will
- Receive a full-fledged Workbook customised to the various topics-in-training
- Go through an Adversity Quotient assessment (‘Total Success Multi-Quotient’ Analytics Profiling) to ascertain their ability to face situations, problems, and obstacles as an individual, a team manager and/or a leader
- Go through a leadership elements’ analytical tool (‘Triple-Set Leader’ framework), and discover their new-era team-leading styles
- Be guided through utilising the I.T.E.M.S (Individual and Team Effective Management Skills) framework for the comprehensive mastery of personal effectiveness as an individual, team manager and leader in tasks, service and/or sales management.

Course Fee/s and Funding Period
- Full-day course fee of S$450 nett
- 1) For SG Citizens and PRs of 40 and above years of age, there is 70% fee subsidy. Thus: S$135 nett
- 2) For SG Citizens and PRs of 39 and below years of age, there is 50% fee subsidy. Thus: S$225 nett

Dr Joshua Luke
Up to date, because of the list of his clients which included various multi-national corporations, Dr Luke’s trainings in Singapore have him coaching participants from diverse nationalities – Asian audiences: Chinese nationals, Indians, Koreans, Filipinos, Caucasian audiences: British, Americans, Australians, Italians, and African audiences – South Africans, Nigerians, etc. The list of his training clients has spanned across various industries, and includes public organisations like the Housing & Development Board, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Transport, Defence Science & Technology Agency, MUIS (Islamic Religious Council of Singapore), National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Institute of Management, Singapore Institute of Management, etc., and private corporations like United Overseas Bank, Juilius Baer, Shanghai-Pudong Bank, Maybank, Aberdeen, AIA, Prudential, Great Eastern, Manulife, PSA Corporation Ltd, RSM Stoneforest, etc. Armed with over 20 years of experience and with all his expertise, Joshua has also conducted workshops overseas – in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia and South Africa, with more cities and countries to come in the following years.

Our Core Team consists of personnel holding various positions and roles in the Administration and Operations Division, the Consulting and Training Division and the Training Development & Support Division (picture right), whereas our Support Team assists in main training and breakout group- coaching with mindset, skillset and heartset reinforcement (picture left). Headed by our Director of Business and Training Development Dr Joshua Luke, he is also the Principal Consultant and Chief Trainer of the Academy.
